MANCHESTER VARICOSE VEINS

You will be looked after throughout by a doctor specialising in vascular disorders with an expertise in diseases affecting veins. Any treatments from injection of thread veins to surgery will be done by a Consultant Vascular Specialist. We have extensive experience in all the different treatment options currently available. Therefore at every stage you will be fully informed of your options and advised appropriately. We will match our expertise with your treatment hopes and goals whether it is simple reassurance to a course of treatments. During his training he has learnt from a number of leading specialists in the field of venous disease. In the early stages open surgery was still the technique of choice so a lot of experience was gained in these approaches. Towards the end of his training he learnt Endovenous Laser Therapy at Leeds General Infirmary which was one of the early pioneers in assessing and promoting the revolution in endovenous ablation in the UK. In Adelaide, he then learnt the newer ClariVein tumescence-free technique of mechanico-chemical treatment of varicose veins at the Flinders Medical Centre which did some of the early analysis and promoted this new approach in Australia. Tawqeer is competent in keyhole and open surgical approaches to venous problems and is happy to discuss with you what best suits your needs whether it is injection sclerotherapy for thread veins or something more complex.
